Question:

What is standard Ethernet frame size and MTU ?

Answer:

In my knowledge(not from Internet)  Cheesy

Preamble is not calculated in frame size so DA (6 bytes) SA (6 bytes) Type (2 bytes) data + pad (1500 bytes) FCS (4bytes) = a total of 1518

MTU size is as known as 1500byte.

In trunking technology:

Cisco ISL = 1518 bytes
IEEE 802.1Q = 1522 bytes
