PPP is industry standard, very good protocol. It supports most of connection types.

o Authentication
o Compression

- mppc (microsoft point to point compression)
- Predictor (If you have enough memory than CPU power)
- Stac (If you have enough power of CPU than memory)

o Multilink
o Call Back
o Multi-protocol Encapsulation, IPCP, IPXCP, CDPCP and etc
